Dr. Subhash University which is an institutional Jewel of Junagadh, was founded in the year 2010 by the industrialist, philanthropist and a visionary Late Shri Pethaljibhai N. Chavda and is dedicated to the memory of his late son Dr. Subhash P. Chavda. It is the flagship institution among the seventeen institutions managed by Dr. Subhash P. Chavda Ahir Kelavani Mandal, Junagadh which is a trust. The goal is to transform the campus into a prominent educational center, fostering robust connections with students' parents, alumni, top-tier industries, and academic institutions. The objective is to provide every ambitious and deserving young individual with knowledge and skills that enhance employability. There's a strong emphasis on fostering an atmosphere conducive to innovative and creative thought processes. Furthermore, the commitment is towards offering holistic education, integrating rigorous training, and embedding core ethical values to fulfill the demands of both the industrial sector and the broader community. The Training and Placement Cell actively informs students about upcoming job opportunities and provides consistent guidance. Over 500 seminars have been hosted by the institute, leading to the placement of more than 2500 students. In line with the emphasis on Industry-Institute Collaboration, students gain firsthand experience of the professional settings in various industries. Practical training is provided in both traditional and cutting-edge methodologies. DSU offers its students state-of-the-art technological amenities. A brief overview of these facilities is as follows, Library: Dr. Subhash University's library boasts a collection of over 23,000 books, access to 3,000+ research articles, journals, magazines, and 160+ research contributions from faculty members. Labs: The university has over 75 modern labs, including a dedicated CAD lab equipped with software such as Auto-CAD, Creo, and Solidworks. This lab offers specialized training to students and staff, conducted by experts. Transportation: DSU provides transport services across different routes for the convenience of both students and faculty. Regarding the faculty at Dr. Subhash University, the institution is home to 19 esteemed faculty members. Among them, 11 hold PhDs and come with a rich experience of over a decade in their specialized academic fields. One of the primary objectives of the faculty is ensuring comprehensive placement support for students.
