Vivekananda Institute of Professional Studies (VIPS) established in 1997 in Pitampura, New Delhi, India. It is a private college, affiliated with Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The college comprises various academic units, each catering to specific fields of study. These include the Schools of Law and Education, Information Technology, Business Studies, Journalism and Mass Communication, Economics, English Studies, and Engineering and Technology. The college offers an array of programs, including B. Tech, BBA, BBA in Banking and Insurance, B.A. (Hons) in Economics, BA LLB, B.Com (Hons), BCA, BA in Journalism and Mass Communication, LLM, BBA LLB, MCA, BA (Hons) in English, MBA, and PG Diploma in Management. This diverse range of courses provides students with opportunities to pursue education in various disciplines, preparing them for careers in sectors such as technology, business, law, journalism, economics, and more. VIPS has a dedicated Research and Development cell that focuses on encouraging both faculty and students to conduct research and publish their findings. The main goals are to develop research skills among the faculty and students, provide the necessary facilities for research in areas like Law, Management, IT, and mass communication, and inspire students to be enthusiastic about research and innovation. The cell also collaborates closely with industries to address their needs and improve products or services, aiming to benefit the economy. It promotes creative thinking for business and society, and organizes sessions with entrepreneurs, enhancing skill development and self-employment prospects. VIPS has a big and green campus that covers five acres of land. The building is super modern and has air conditioning everywhere. The campus has internet everywhere, and they use special computer systems for learning. The classrooms have big screens and projectors to make learning better.The school has great places for teaching, like big libraries with lots of books. They also have labs for doing hands-on experiments and special rooms for training and creative work. VIPS takes students on trips and organizes workshops and events with experts. Besides classes, VIPS has fun things to do too. They have sports, clubs, and cultural activities, so students can enjoy and learn outside of the classrooms. Overall, VIPS cares about giving students a complete education with modern facilities and lots of exciting activities. VIPS actively involves students as Gender Champions, following guidelines from the Ministry of Women and Child Development and UGC. Through this club, students become leaders promoting respect and equality among all genders, aiming to foster a gender-sensitive youth that advocates for positive social norms and values humanity.
