On June 15, 2024, the JNU Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship closed the MBA program registration period. To be able to apply, candidates must have passed the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2023.

Candidates from the General Category, OBC (NCL), and EWS must have a minimum aggregate of 50 percent marks or an equivalent CGPA in their qualifying degree in order to be considered for admission to Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) for the 2024 MBA program.

 Qualification Standards

In order to qualify, candidates from the General Category, OBC, and EWS must earn at least 50 percent of the possible points in their qualifying degree, or an equivalent CGPA. SC, ST, and PwD applicants are eligible for a 5 percent relaxation.

 

 Charges for the full-time MBA

- General Category: 12 lakh rupees, to be paid in 4 equal payments.
- OBC Category: Rs 8 lakh, to be paid in 4 equal payments.
- Category ST/SC/PwD: Rs 6 lakh, to be paid in 4 equal installments.

 

 The selection procedure

Shortlisting applicants for Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) based on their CAT scores is the first step in the selection process. There will be at least seven times as many applications on the shortlist for GD and PI as there are seats available in each category. The CAT score (70 percent weighted), group discussion (10 percent weighted), and personal interview (20 percent weighted) will be combined to determine the final selection of candidates.
