The Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) has begun accepting registrations for VIT Research Entrance Examination (VITREE) 2025. Qualified candidates can apply for the same through the official website of VUT at vit.ac.in before the deadline. The exam is scheduled to take place on December 5, 2024 for the admissions of PhD and Direct PhD courses across VIT instructions. The final date to register for this exam is November 25, 2024.

Step 2: Find and click on PhD/Direct PhD Online Application link on the homepage
Step 3: Enter the necessary details
Step 4: Complete the application form
Step 5: Pay the application fee of Rs 1200
Step 6: Review and submit the application form
Step 7: Save the form for future reference
This will be a 2-hour online examination which will comprise multiple choice questions and there will be no negative marking for wrong answers. The exam will consist of 100 questions, which will be scheduled on December 7, 2024. For PhD applicants, there will be 70 technical, 15 on English communication and 15 on statistics and probability. Similarly, for Direct PhD applicants, there will be 80 technical and 20 questions on English communication skills. The exam will be held in English language only in a single shift from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm in 28 cities.
