The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued guidelines prohibiting unethical behavior during Commission examinations. Every year, SSC administers a number of recruitment exams, including the combination graduate level (CGL), the combined higher secondary level (CHSL), and others.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has sent out a strong warning to anyone abusing its examination system. The SSC made clear in a recent press release that anyone found to have disclosed, published, reproduced, transmitted, or stored any portion of the exam content will face harsh consequences.
The commission's commitment to upholding the integrity of its examination procedure is demonstrated by this warning, which comes in the wake of reports of significant anomalies in the SSC Clerk Exam 2024.
Additionally, Delhi Police has opened a probe and filed a formal complaint (FIR) about claims of widespread irregularities in an SSC clerical exam. According to reports, the SSC has discovered a minimum of 53 students who cheated on the online exam by using unethical tactics.
The commission issues a warning, stating that it constitutes serious misconduct to reveal, publish, or save test content in any format, including rough drafts. Those found guilty will not be allowed to retake the test."
"It has come to the notice of the Commission that some persons are engaged in the aforesaid activities through social media i.e. Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, etc.," states the official notification.
"Disciplinary & legal action would be taken against such candidates or persons/individuals involved as per rules & such matters would be reported to police, if necessary," it says.
The dates for the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) exam are announced annually by the Staff Selection Commission. There are four phases of the SSC CGL exam: Tier-I, Tier-II, Tier-III, and Tier-IV. In order to get hired, a candidate must meet all requirements. Who gets hired by the government will be determined by the final merit list. The stages listed below are as follows:
Tier-I: Computer-Based, Objective Multiple Choice Online Paper
Tier-II: Computer-Based, Objective Multiple Choice Online Paper
Tier III: Pen and Paper Mode, Descriptive Paper in Hindi/English
Tier-IV: Computer-Based Proficiency and Skill Assessment

Descriptive Paper in Hindi/English (Writing of Letter, Essay, Application, Precis, etc.) – 100 Marks, 1 Hour duration.
SSC CGL Tier-IV Exam Pattern:
The SSC CGL Tier-IV is an online-based paper that consist of two phases namely the DEST Test and CPT Test. The details of both phases are below mentioned-
Phase I – DEST: To crack the DEST exam, candidates must be proficient in computer typing. They need to type overall 2000 words in 15 minutes in English. Through this test, candidates are trained for writing skills and computer skills.
Phase II – CPT: The CPT exam carries work on Spreadsheets, PowerPoint, word processing, and ms office.
Graduate level exam for government jobs, conducted in four tiers.
Four: Tier-I, Tier-II, Tier-III, and Tier-IV.
Objective questions in reasoning, awareness, aptitude, and comprehension.
Data Entry Speed Test and Computer Proficiency Test.
Disqualification, severe consequences, and possible legal actions.
