Assam Down Town University

Assam Down Town University is situated in Panikhaiti, Guwahati, Assam. Guwahati, being the gateway to Northeast India, provides a central location for the institution. A private university established in 2010, evolving from the already existing Down Town Hospital Limited's education endeavors. The Pharmacy Council of India, the University Grants Commission, the Indian Association of Physiotherapy, and the Indian Nursing Council all acknowledge the university. Assam Down Town University offers a broad range of programs across various disciplines, including Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Paramedical, Hospitality, Tourism & Travel, Social Work, and more. The educational journey of the group had begun way back in 1993 with the establishment of the Down Town School of Nursing, the first private nursing school in North East. In 1997 the group started the paramedical institute, giving diplomas in various allied health streams. The university is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, including modern classrooms, labs, libraries, and other facilities to foster an environment conducive to learning. The university has two seminar rooms and one auditorium equipped with the latest audiovisual for meetings, fatuity presentations, and discussions. The seating and capacity of the Seminar rooms hall are 250 and 300 in Auditoriums. Conferences, seminars, workshops, guest lectures, and cultural events are regular features at AdtU. The university also has a huge in-campus amphitheater. The institution also promotes research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The university is not just focused on traditional education but also emphasizes practical experience, making students industry-ready. Undertaking multiple research projects. AdtU boasts a team of experienced faculty members dedicated to imparting quality education and guiding students in their academic and professional pursuits.
