FT Rankings 2024: SPJIMR, IIM-A maintain their position in the top 50 for Masters in Management

The Financial Times Masters in Management (FT MiM) global ranking 2024 has ranked Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan's SP Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR) as the best business school in India and 35th overall.

According to the results that were made public on Sunday, the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM A) is ranked 39th internationally and in second place within India, behind SPJIMR. IIM Bangalore, which is ranked 41st in the world, comes after IIM Ahmedabad.

This time, the only three Indian institutions to be ranked in the top 50 in the world are SPJIMR, IIM Ahmedabad, and IIM Bangalore.

IIM Lucknow, which is ranked 55th overall, comes in at position four (in India), followed by IIM Calcutta, which is ranked 56th. XLRI, or the Xavier School of Management, is ranked 65th globally, followed by IIM Kozhikode, which is ranked 68th, and these two IIMs.

The other Indian universities in the top 100 are NMIMS Mumbai, School of Business Management at 94, SCMHRD at 76, IIM Udaipur at 81, IIM Indore at 83, Management Development Institute Gurgaon at 85, International Management Institute New Delhi at 86, and Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad at 97.

In all, 21 Indian institutes are listed in this year's FT rankings for MiM courses.

A graduate-level business degree called a Master of Management (MiM) equips students for leadership and management positions. Graduates of this program can advance to higher positions by using it to get their foot in the door for entry-level management possibilities.

The University of St. Gallen in Switzerland is ranked #1 in the world, with HEC Paris, Insead, and Edhec Business School in France coming in second, third, and fourth, respectively. Shanghai Jiao Tong University in China: Antai has won all five categories this year.

It's interesting to note that 24 French institutes rank among the top 100, and six of the top 10 institutes are located in France.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University: Antai and Tongji University School of Economics and Management are the only two Chinese institutions on this list.
